Doula Services for the Greater Edmonton Area Include

Doula Services May Include (for specific information on packages see Fees page):

Free initial consultation

3 prenatal visits (Spinning Babies instruction, comfort measures, birth preferences)

Continuous support during labour, birth and for 1-2 hrs postpartum

1  postnatal visit in the first week and an additional visit if requested

Unlimited phone and e-mail contact throughout pregnancy and  postpartum

Birth Photography (not professional or professional – your choice) Small extra fee for this service

Back-up doula at all times

Doula Services DO NOT Include:

-Performing any clinicial tasks; this is the work of your caregiver

-Making decisions for you;  We will help you understand your options, including the risks and benefits to help you make an informed decision.

-Speaking to staff on your behalf; rather we will work cooperatively with you, your partner and care giving staff to create the best birth for you.

-Projecting my beliefs on your experience; Your birth choices, your decisions – IWe will support these choices.
