Every woman, family, birth and babe is unique; to me this means that there is no one-size-fits-all doula foIt is such an honour and a privilege to support and hold space for women on their childbirth journeys.

I have always been passionate about pregnancy and birth, so amazed by the strength and innate wisdom of the body to bring forth life, time and time again. It really is so beautiful!

I believe that birth can and should be an empowering experience and I believe my role as a Doula is to support the empowerment of child bearing women and their families. My goal is to offer women the resources and information they need in order to make the best choices for themselves, their families and their babies. No two births are ever the same—we are all unique.

Women’s choices in childbirth should be their own, and come from a place of confidence and not fear. It is my greatest hope that, no matter the outcome of your birth, you will remember that you had a voice, you felt safe & supported, and you did what felt right for you. The way you remember your birth experience will stay with you for the rest of your life.

I am never done learning, and I look forward to any opportunity where I am able to learn new skills and techniques to best support you on your journey to motherhood/parenthood.

I am proud to provide inclusive, trauma-informed Doula support. I believe we can, and must always, be kind to the birthing person. Your birth matters.

Since completing my Doula training and certification with DONA, I have completed training in the use of Rebozo to support during pregnancy and birth, I have also completed training in baby-wearing basics.

I am a Spinning Babies Aware Practitioner, and a Certified Reiki Level 1 & 2 Practitioner.

In addition to being a Doula, I also have a background in social work, with many years of front-line experience supporting victims of family violence. It brings me great joy to aid in removing barriers for families, and to watch families grow and achieve their fullest potential in our community.

I acknowledge that I am living on Treaty 6 Territory, and I respect the histories, languages and cultures of First Nations, Metis and Inuit people, whose presence continues to enrich our vibrant community.

I live in Edmonton with my wonderfully supportive wife, and I LOVE being a doula! In my spare time, I can be found walking my dog through our city’s many beautiful ravines, indulging in culinary delights, or cozied up with a good book. I look forward to my own birth experiences with excitement, joy and anticipation… and of course hiring my own Doula for the invaluable support that Doulas provide!
